Advertising Agency Awards
I follow several interactive advertising agencies on Twitter and over the past month or so I’ve noticed quite a few tweets regarding industry awards. For instance, one agency just won a best-in-class design award, another was touting a creative accolade, and a third agency – a candidate for digital agency of the decade – was pandering to voters.

Holy cow. What a great idea!! Love it. Instead of the ad agencies all patting each other on the backs, they can celebrate client success. Thanks for mentioning my stuff. David

There are such awards in existence. They’ve been in existence for quite some time. They’re called the Effie, named after “effectivity” http://www.effie.org

Hi Michael
Thanks for bringing Effie Worldwide to my attention. It appears the organization has been around since 1968. It’s too bad we don’t hear more about companies winning Effie Awards. I appreciate the comment.
