Our Process
After preliminary research, we begin by conducting a series of interviews – usually with company founders – to gather insight about the business, the marketplace, competitors, and product and service offerings. Interviews are also used to identify specific company goals, target markets, customer profiles, the company’s unique selling propositions, and to learn why the company was originally founded.
Afterwards, we conduct additional research to evaluate a client’s existing clients marketing efforts (if applicable), to review competitor websites, product and services, and to identify trends and potential opportunities.
With this insight, we begin to formulate the company’s unique story into a succinct and cohesive document, which ultimately becomes the marketing strategy. It includes clear communication points, target markets, objectives, key messaging, and the company’s unique selling propositions, which provide a solid foundation for the company’s marketing plan.
Marketing Plan
Based on a client’s budget, resources, and temperament, we then formulate a marketing plan, complete with tactical solutions designed to efficiently achieve stated objectives.
Depending on the client’s product or service offerings, separate marketing plans may need to be developed for different segments.
The primary objective of the marketing plan is to identify and outline tactics that clients can implement to attract new customers and/or further monetize existing customer relationships. Ongoing monitoring, testing, and tweaking is then required to ensure tactics are performing as expected.
